An Interview with Kara Rasmussen of The Mydols

The Mydols are a collection of moms who are a solid presence in Detroit's music scene. Although the novelty of a band composed entirely of "mommies" attracts attention, the fact that this is a group of ladies who play solid punk music with great rock riffs attracts fans.

I spoke briefly with Mydols' singer Kara Rasmussen, about the band's upcoming box set, the Mamapalooza festival, and what it means to be a mom rocker.
