Blight - Detroit: The Dream Is Dead

For a few months in 1982, Tesco Vee of the Meatmen teamed up with a few friends in a basement in Lansing Michigan. The result was Blight, a hardcore noise band unlike anything that had come before.
Touch and Go Records has just released an album that spans their entire brief career, and contains all of their recordings. This consists of an EP, two four-track demos, and a live set. It's all pretty amazing.
