Mamapalooza Is Kicking Off This Friday

This Friday is the first night of the nationwide Mamapalooza festival. The festival, which was founded in New York in 2002 by Joy Rose of Housewives on Prozac, takes place in over 30 venues across the country and is a festival featuring "mom rockers" all across the country.

Here in Detroit, I'll be checking out our local event with the Candy Band, the Mydols, Detroit Women and Kathy Valentine (Read my interview with Kara of the Mydols for more insight on the event, as well as on "mom rockers").
