Mamapalooza Detroit, Royal Oak Music Theater, May 5, 2006

Mamapalooza is a nationwide festival taking place this month, honoring moms who rock.

The Detroit show had a large dose of punk rocking moms, and consisted of The Candy Band, The Mydols, an R&B Group called The Detroit Women, and a headlining performance by Kathy Valentine and the Impossible. Kathy Valentine is formerly of the Go-Go's, and she's touring with an all-star band, including Clem Burke on drums. Burke was also briefly known as the infamous Elvis Ramone.
