Mission Of Burma - July 28, 2006, The Magic Stick, Detroit

From 1979 to 1983, Mission Of Burma was making music, and they were making it loud. They were making it so loud that they were actually damaging the hearing of their guitarist. So they broke up, having only released one studio album. That album was enough to influence many bands that would come.

In 2002, Mission Of Burma got back together, and they're touring. It's not quite as loud, but their sound is just as innovative and intricate as it ever has been. And it makes for an interesting live show.
