An Interview With Britt Black

She's only 20, yet Britt Black already has a long musical career behind her. One of the founders of LiveOnRelease and a former guitarist for Bif Naked, she's now going solo with a blend of '70s rock and pop punk that has some critics calling her the next Joan Jett.

I met up with Britt Black backstage at this year's Warped Tour, where she was playing on the Shiragirl/Gritty in Pink stage supporting her debut solo album, Blackout. She's very down-to-earth and laid back, yet very passionate about her work. Sha also has some strong opinions about what it means to be a woman in the "boy's club" of rock and roll.
