Video Evidence of Valient Himself Conjuring the Spirit of the Motor City

I realize I’ve probably raved about Wayne Kramer’s appearance during Valient Thorr’s set at SXSW a lot on this site as of late, so I’m going to do it one more time.

This time however, it’s not to belabor the fact that you missed it. It’s to provide you with a link to the video so you can see it for yourself.

Check out this video of Wayne Kramer of the MC5 and Valient Thorr performing “Tough Customer” at SXSW 2007.

While you’re watching, watch for an additional cameo from our own photographer Nicole Lucas. It’s not a very big role, but it’s further proof that we were there (or at least she was! I have a photo of me and Valient Himself here - that's my proof).

Seriously, Valient Thorr is one of the most dynamic live bands running right now. In fact, I'll go on record here: I must implore both the members of Valient Thorr and the folks at Volcom to put totgether either a live album or a tour film, or preferably both. I'd buy it, and so would all the stone-cold Thorriers around the world. So, please? Pretty please?
