Interview: Paul Raven of Ministry

Thursday October 18, 2007

Recently, when I spoke with Ministry bassist Paul Raven by phone, I had every intention of focusing the conversation on The Last Sucker, Ministry's latest and last studio album. I really did.

We got sidetracked, though.

Much of the interview was spent chatting it up about the amazing cast of musicians that Raven has worked with over the years, and who he's working with now. We did end up talking about Ministry and The Last Sucker, but really that was a bit of an afterthought.

If you are or ever were into the stuff Wax Trax or Invisible Records, this one will be a trip down memory lane. If you weren't... well, what's wrong with you?!?!

Seriously though, Raven is both a legend and a really cool guy, and I had great time chatting with him, reminiscing about so many of the bands and musicians that I followed religiously during the height of Wax Trax.

Check my interview with Paul Raven of Ministry... And Killing Joke. And Prong. And Pigface. And...
