There's something to be said about a Simple Plan on New Year's Eve...

I hope everyone had a somewhat safe, somewhat sane holiday. Whether or not you did, it’s done, right?
As I mentioned in my last post, I spent my New Year’s Eve at a performance by Detroit’s own personal one-man noisemaker, Impercept. It was a great performance, heavy on the noise, both manufactured and organic, and a great beginning of my plan to see more shows.
Those of you who had simple plans to stay in for the evening may have been around when Canadian pop punkers Simple Plan put their live show up on New Year’s Eve.
Fortunately for those of us who were not at home this particular evening but would still like to see the performance, You Tube has made a name for itself by being the place for pre-recorded video items. Like Alice Cooper’s performance on the Muppet Show (Remember that one? It was an important part of my formulative years and You Tube has it!), the Simple Plan New Year’s Eve show has now been implanted for posterity within the hallowed halls of their video archives, most specifically on this little piece of You Tube real estate.
