Free MP3 from Dead Child

The bio for Louisville, Kentucky’s Dead Child is a frightening tale regarding the band’s attempts to accrue a series of prosthetics in order to rebuild their dark, aging, heavy metal frames.

Fortunately, Quarterstick Records was willing to help the band out, and newly rebuilt into a “a five-headed Frankenstein that now walks among the living,” Dead Child is unleashed, creating music that is as dark and heavy as their name and back story.

The band will debut in April with Attack and tour the states to support. While you wait, you can download the first single, “Sweet Chariot,” for free. It’s a thrash-heavy hardcore stunner with a definite underlying groove. If you’re a fan of bands like Clutch, it will be an easy transition to embrace Dead Child.
