While this obviously is not a hip-hop site, occasionally I think it’s safe to blur the lines and offer up some hip-hop for you guys. MC Frontalot is one I’ll make an exception for.

If you’re not aware of MC Frontalot, you should be. The Godfather of nerdcore hip-hop and the self-proclaimed "world's 579th greatest rapper," Frontalot paved the way for the likes of other nerdcore rappers like MC Chris (who rocked the Warped Tour this year) and MC Lars.

If you’re new to the whole nerdcore thing, it’s essentially rapping about the type of things that appeal to those of us who are too geeky to be gangsta. Frontalot’s rhymes deal with topics like Goth Girls, video games and in the case of “Wallflowers,” from his upcoming release Final Boss, out on November 4, a dance named after a certain lady politician.

One word of warning: this song is incredibly addictive, and one download and listen will have it irretrievably implanted in your earballs. Then again, it's a good song, so it's up to you if getting it stuck in your head is good or bad.
