2009 saw the release of The New Enemy's Shakedown EP, a record that blew me away by the sheer hardcore power of the unsigned Toronto band.
Next week, The New Enemy returns with Darkness, She Was The Universe, their debut full-length and a record loaded with more of the raw hardcore aggression that made their previous releases so great, as well as a few surprises. It will be released on a pay-what-you-like basis, with all the proceeds going to Youth Without Shelter, a Toronto-based organization that helps homeless and abused youth.
