Bob Mould turns to Kickstarter to fund his new concert film

By November 30, 2012

On November 21, 2011, a host of talented and influential artists gathered at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles to celebrate and pay tribute to the music of Bob Mould, a member of influential hardcore band Husker Du and one of the greatest songwriters today. Dave Grohl, Ryan Adams, and Craig Finn and Tad Kubler of the Hold Steady joined Mould and a host of others for what was an amazing night of music. Only those in attendance witnessed the show, but Mould has turned to Kickstarter to help produce a concert film.

Like Amanda Palmer, Vultures United and a host of other musicians who've used Kickstarter to crowdsource their works, Mould is asking his fans to help make SEE A LITTLE LIGHT: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould become a reality. Different contribution levels include copies of the DVD, limited edition 7"s, T-shirts and more.

Google Play has premiered ten exclusive audio tracks to help you get an idea of what will be on the DVD, and you can check them out here.

To learn more about the project, and donate to the effort, check out Mould's Kickstarter page.
