Recent news that Clash frontman Joe Strummer would have a square named after him in Granada has me digging into the vaults to listen to appropriate music.
I'm not talking about Clash records, they never end up in the vault. I'm talking about music from Kortatu, a Basque punk band that is heavily influenced by the Clash.
I picked up El Estado de las Cosas in Barcelona a few years back, after asking the guy at the record store for some good Spanish punk. He was right, this was great. I dug it then and still dig it now.
