Frontman Al Barr took over vocal duties for the band back in 1997, when Mike McColgan left the band to pursue his lifelong dream of being a Boston firefighter (He would later reemerge on the musical scene fronting the Street Dogs). Despite the lineup change, Barr sang material from McColgan's era as well, and the set was a rolling trip across the band's history.
