The Tossers' Long History:
Although they're just starting to gain notice, the Tossers are actually not newcomers to the scene, and have in fact been around longer than the Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly, two bands they share sounds with, and have in fact toured with.
The Roots and Sound of the Tossers:
The Tossers are from the predominantly Irish neighborhoods of South-Side Chicago, and do nothing to hide their heritage. While many of their peers are often punk bands with a Celtic sound, the Tossers are much more of a Celtic band with a punk sound.
While their live shows are the sweaty, beer-soaked and pit friendly events one expects from a Celtic punk show, the band's albums are a testament to their mastery of music. It's almost like two separate bands, with both being a lot of fun.
